Also I don't think I'll ever play a first person shooter with a gamepad, so I'll stick to mouse and keyboard for Farcry 2, Fallout 3 etc. Can't say sports games interest me in the slightest, so no golf or football for me. Something fun and easy going that I can just play in bed (because I can do that now ) would be nice, but I'll give anything that's good a shot.Ĭheers for all the replies. The only game I've got that I haven't completed that would be better with the controller is Assassin's Creed, which I tried playing for a bit, but found fairly dull and the controls clunky (with either M&K or the 360 controller).

I downloaded some third party drivers which let you play unsupported games like DMC3, but again I've already completed that, so haven't bothered trying it with the controller. I also gave Devil May Cry 4 a whirl, but again I've already completed it on normal and legendary dark knight mode with the keyboard, and trying to relearn the controls on a level that I couldn't get past before on Son of Sparda isn't a very forgiving experience. Problem is, I've already completed GTA4 once with a keyboard so I only play it occasionally now to drive around and blow shit up. So far I've only really played GTA4 with it, where it's predictably better for driving and worse for shooting. My reasoning being that it would be better for playing certain types of game and shoddy PC ports. So I recently forked out cash for an overpriced (well, maybe not that overpriced) Xbox 360 controller for my PC.
